This cousin of the Largemouth Bass has many nicknames, including "Smallie" & "Bronzeback." It is the most trout-like bass, and is an "ambush" predator. This freshwater fish prefers flowing streams & rivers with rocky bottoms (versus still lakes, preferred by the largemouth).
